NORMAN HARBER CHOSEN AS PRINCIPLE OF STRATEGIC MOBILITY

Advocate Networks recently added Norman Harber, a renowned IT and mobility expert, to the Advocate Networks team. Harber will serve as principal of the company’s Strategic Mobility practice.

Harber will be responsible for growing the practice. He will oversee a team of seven senior consultants who use Advocate Networks’ proprietary methods that analyze businesses’ mobility and technology systems based on each professional’s role and job function within an organization. Using the results of the analysis, the team will assess, recommend, and implement strategic plans regarding next generation phone systems and the convergence of multiple communication technologies.

Harber’s 12 years of experience in strategic technology covers a wide area, including Web and application development, Internet consulting, and strategic business services. Previously, Harber served as director and solutions manager of Intellinet Corporation, a consulting organization specializing in Microsoft infrastructure and mobility and application development. There he received multiple Excellence in Client Development awards and became a member of the President’s Club for exceeding quotas by the highest percent out of all nine company directors. An entrepreneur, Harber is a co-founder of Definition6, Inc., an Internet consulting, marketing, and business application development company, and the founder of Web World, Inc., a boutique Web development organization. Harber holds a Bachelor of Science degree in criminology and law from the University of Florida, where he minored in business administration. He is an active member of the AICC, the Wireless Technology Forum, the Atlanta CEO High Tech Council, and the Atlanta Business Alliance.
