Communications Inventory and Telecom Audit

Based on the execution of over 175 inventory, audit and benchmark projects on over $280 million of annual communications expense, Advocate Networks has found more than 20% annual savings.

Advocate Networks’ approach to this project is to create a communications inventory baseline of services, contracts, and terms for your current telecommunications and financial practices. Based on the information provided to date, we believe that an opportunity exists to stream-line and reduce your communications expenses, and implement tools that will allow you to cost-effectively retain internal control and processing over the communications services and various support processes including bill review and payment process. In addition, Advocate Networks will use a proprietary relation database tool called Telerazor to automate the audit process.

Advocate Networks data collection process includes a comprehensive collection of all available records (carrier service agreements, carrier bills, customer service records, letters of disconnection, and physical site inspection records, if needed). Advocate Networks will code each standard form, and enter the appropriate information fields in Telerazor relationship database. Based on the processing tools of Telerazor, Advocate Networks automates the process of bill audit. Advocate Networks estimates a 60-day period from the delivery of all telecommunications records to the completion of the Telecom Inventory Assessment and Audit Report.

We Operate Internationally

Advocate Networks has performed communications management throughout the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America.

Advocate Networks has provided a Sample Inventory, Audit and Benchmark Project Report for your review. Due to confidentiality obligations, the specific client name and data has been redacted with generic information.

20% Annual Savings

Project savings are always dependent on each client. However, based on the execution of over 175 inventory, audit and benchmark projects on over $280 million of annual communications expense, Advocate Networks has found more than 20% annual savings. There is no way of predicting actual funds recovery until at least one quarter of service is audited and service agreements are reviewed in full. At that point in the project, an accurate assessment of the recovery opportunity can be provided with detailed evidence.

Credits from service providers, vendors or other supplies will be recovered in the form of credits to existing accounts with each supplier, or refund checks to you from the supplier. In most cases, credits are applied, and you must request a check if a cash refund is preferred. To request more information, contact us now.
